Made with double terminated quartz, selenite, shungite, tourmaline, iron oxide powder, diatomaceous earth, activated charcoal, himalayan sea salt, copper, aluminum. The black base is packed with shungite & tourmaline in iron oxide powder, mixed in is our local Sarasota beach sand which consists of 99% pure quartz. Only clear resin is used, the black is a iron oxide.
Aesthetically: after the resin dries, all of our orgone get hand-polished by our flat lapidary wheel & then sprayed with a high-gloss enamel clear coat. This is so they appear sleek n shiny. This extra work in no way effects the functionality of the piece— but makes them more presentable and gives them a more caring touch. Each piece charges in direct Florida sunlight for a couple hours before shipping. ☀️
The resin shrinks down and applies pressure to the quartz, amplifying its frequency & protective properties.
Orgone is simply a combination of many metal particles suspended in a resin matrix. Because there are often many metal particles the energy flow within Orgone tends to be very dynamic — making it pretty powerful stuff.
Orgone is based on these two principles. It is a 50-50 mix of resin (organic, due to the fact that it is based on petrochemicals), and metal shavings (inorganic). A quartz crystal is also added to the Orgone mix. This is because of its piezoelectric properties, which means that it gives off a charge when it is put under pressure (resin shrinks when it is cured, so constant pressure is put on the quartz crystal).
Due to the fact that the elements contained in Orgone are constantly attracting and repelling energy, a “scrubbing” action takes place, and along with the charge that the crystal gives off, this cleanses stagnant and negative energy and brings it back to a healthy, vibrant state.
The effects of orgone differ from person to person. Some feel the energy straight away (usually as a tingling or warm sensation) while for others the effects are cumulative. The most commonly reported effects of orgonite are:
